This is a small temple with a large following of devotees. The location of this temple is one of the important landmarks of Madipakkam. This temple celebrates is annual function the Tamil month of Aadi. There is a sanctum for the Devi Ponniyamman and with a gopuram. This four-tiered gopuram has a number of colourful stucco sculptures. It has a covered courtyard for devotees to offer prayers.
