The riverside park is spread over 6 hectares with small forests and gardens on the bank of river Cossey or Kangsabati. This planned and structured on the available terrain and has a big tank and a big pond in it. It also hosts a statue of Khudiram Bose, the freedom fighter. There are left over structures of old river bridge and a small restaurant in the park. There are interesting river facing seating arrangements are available. The place has interesting geography and contours providing a cosy and romantic atmosphere. The view from riverside is breath taking with interesting views of old and new road bridges and a barrage.
