The erstwhile royal city of Mysore boasts of a planned infrastructure, wide roads, adequate green cover and public buildings of good aesthetics and architecture. It was a typical South-Indian sunny day. I took a walk from Sri Harsha Road to Bangalore Nilgiri Road and reached Hardinge Circle. From there I went to the Statue of Chamarajendra Wodeyar through Albert Victor Road and Ashoka Road. Then I reached Krishna Rajendra Circle and walked by Sayaji Rao Road and by Irwin Road Mysore Junction railway station. I saw some interesting Greco-Roman, Gothic, Indo-Saracenic and European Classical Style architecture in public buildings on the way. The buildings are unlike many what you find in many South Indian cities.
