This nine-spired temple was
inaugurated on May 31st, 1855, which was built by Rani Rashmoni on a
vision in her dream. The temple resembling hump of a tortoise has a Navaratna
temple, twelve Shiva Temples, a Vishnu temple and a Natmandir. Sri Ramakrishna
was the second priest of the temple. The temples architectural style is unique
columns and arches with spires. This style is replicated widely all over Bengal.
