The funicular trip began at station
of Cttá Alta and reached Piazza Mercato delle Scarpe. It was a walk-through Via
Gombito, Via Alla Rocca, Via Maria Lupo, Piazza Vecchia, Cathedral of Bergamo,
Torre di Adelberto and ended at Piazza della Cittadella. This is like walking
through the era of renaissance with narrow alleys, five storey stone quarters,
winding pathways, cobble stones squares, pizzerias and restaurants. The
experience was enormous and I try re-living and re-digesting what had gone into
my mind and sight.
